Learning mathematic, especially geometry, through visualization and animation would bring more fun and for sure more efficiency for teachers and students. Also my observation as a student and later, a teacher, is that more exactly, accurate and colored drawings and explanations, better the students’ understanding.

In the next weeks we will present you a few lessons which will show you how to accomplish these helpful techniques for your math targets using the software Blender. We will learn together a new method of teaching some of the most important math subjects.

Blender is one of the most popular Open Source 3D graphics applications in the world. It has the great advantage of being free. Everyone can download it and use it without paying anything! It is under continuously development by the Blender Foundation in the Netherlands.

Aimed world-wide at media professionals and artists, Blender can be used to create 3D visualizations, stills as well as broadcast and cinema quality videos, while the incorporation of a real-time 3D engine allows for the creation of 3D interactive content for stand-alone playback.
